Five Days of Outfits for Tall Moms
Hey tall moms, we know how much you have on your plate. You're juggling multiple calendars, play dates, practices, and much much more. You probably think that picking out trendy tall outfits is the last thing you have time to be concerned about. We totally get that - time is precious in the morning, so you're more concerned about a fast change and moving on with your day! In fact, that’s why we thought it would be helpful for us to put together a quick list of five easy outfits for the week for all you busy moms, or any moms who want a little style help!
The transitional time from summer to fall can be tricky sometimes to match the right outfit to the actual weather for the day. It's easy to underdress and then freeze. Or overdress and sweat to death. BUT that's why layering with tall jackets and tall cardigans are our favorite things! The best fall days are when you have a lightweight jacket over a tee or tank with jeans, and as the day gets progressively warmer out you tie the jacket around your waist. We're not trying to rush summer by just yet, but thinking about fall around the corner totally gets us in the feels!!
We wanted to give you amazing, hard working moms some easy transitional summer-to-fall outfit inspo to make getting dressed in the morning super easy! A variety of styles are featured, to match whatever the day holds for you.
- Lounge shorts
- Leopard Patterned tee
- Hollis jean jacket
This first outfit is insanely comfortable - which is essential for moms on the go!! These lounge shorts come in two colors (gunmetal and black), and you can really pair either color with our new patterned tees. Right now the Hollis Jean Jacket that we show is basically sold out, but don't you worry!! There's a new version of it that will be launching a few months later! We’ve cut this jacket a few times now because who doesn't love/need a good go to denim jacket?
We call this look, “doing the bare minimum to look put together." How can you not love shorts that make you look polished while still being breezy and comfy! A quick style tip for transitioning your summer clothes to fall would be layering our tees and/or ribbed tanks with our tall cardigans or Hollis denim jacket! Layering is ideal for so many reasons, but mainly for restyling our wardrobes!
The best part about our spiced cider leggings is that they are more than just athletic leggings. The material and design allow you to actually wear these leggings as comfortable fashion pants and not just athletic leggings with a tall hoodie. (Although both ways are fab!!). Any of our ribbed tanks or tall tees would be super cute with the Hollis jean jacket, and even a neutral colored ribbed long sleeve would be another great option if you weren’t feeling a jean jacket for the day!
Tall joggers can honestly be worn year round depending on how to accessorize and style them. Pairing our olive tencel joggers with a crewneck tee is an effortless outfit. Wearing sandals can give more of a casual vibe, but Amy also likes wearing sneakers for a sporty girl look! We are excited to see how you guys style these joggers as it gets cooler out too. One of our favorite looks is pairing a cardigan and booties with the tencel joggers for an ultimate fall ensemble!
Last but not least- an outfit a lot of you already own! We've been excited to see so many of you rocking the tall jean shorts and tall ribbed tanks this summer that we thought it would be super helpful to offer some styling tips to transition this whole outfit to fall. Our tall tanks are really easy to pair with our tall ribbed cardigans, Hollis jean jacket (in both colors, although the white wash is currently in stock and also works effortlessly), and the tall utility jacket (in both colors)! All of these layering options are awesome because they're lightweight enough for moderate temperatures, and you can wear them this winter over our new sweaters!!
