Shoe Round-Up For Fall + Winter
It’s our favorite time of the year!!! Okay well, actualllllllllly the holidays are right up there for us too, so I guess it’s ONE of our favorite times of year – FALL. And like so many other women out there, we start dreaming about chilly mornings, cozy layers and everything that goes with this season. Our hearts are officially ready to pack up the shorts and summer dresses and pull out of the leggings, jeans, cardigans and jackets that we can get our hands on! We’ve had SUCH a good time working on our tall clothing line for this fall + winter, and it was our goal to continue to bring in new types of items than we have been able to do in the past. For example, a utility jacket and a faux leather jacket, both made with the extra sleeve & body length that our proportions require! The outfit possibilities with those pieces are endless. And the best part is there are still so many surprises and fun stuff ahead!!
As we look at building outfits using our new fall and winter pieces, we decided we had to round-it out by putting together some of our most favorite shoe styles for this season! We often get asked if we sell larger size women’s shoes ourselves, and while that’s a goal that would be fun to pursue maybe some day, the truth is we just don’t have the capacity or knowledge to take it on quite yet. But, don’t you fret because there are still so many great options out in the market place right now! We pulled together a list of some of our favorite larger size styles by category and linked them all below!! Everything noted is available in at least a size 12, and we noted when certain styles are available in sizes larger than that, too! Many of these are style types that you had requested we search for, so we hope you love what we were able to find! Mules
We highly recommend having a few go-to mules in your closet! They are easy to slip on and look so effortless with jeans and leggings alike. As you can see below, we found a really fun mix of different colors and patterns! The brown ones (in the dead center) are VERY similar to style that we use in a lot of our social media photos & are often asked about!
Booties
As you can see by this list below, whatever your particular bootie style is, there is likely a pair out there waiting for you! And we both personally own the black Tilly bootie that is in the bottom right hand corner and love it! It’s from a fellow small business, Otto + Ivy, who is focused solely on providing great and quality footwear for our niche! And we want to also be sure to point out the amazing brown bootie above it (top right hand corner) because that’s by another small business, CoIX Shoes, who are doing the same thing!! <3 And you can tell they “get it”, because they offer shoe sizes larger than just a size 12! Who says that larger size shoes are basic and boring?? Because we found atterns, patterns + more patterns (along with a fantastic pop of gold!). So if your current shoe collection is missing a spark, you definitely need to check out this group below. Many of these ended up in our shopping carts as we were trying to complete this project….whoops!!
Heels
Whether they are for work with dresses + pants or to elevate a look with jeans, we should all have a few pairs of fabulous heels in our closets (I don’t care how tall you are!) We say this alllll the time and we cannot stress it enough, “There is NOT a height limit to who can wear heels!” For some tall women, it’s still a bit uncomfortable but like anything, that goes away with time the more you do it. And for others it’s empowering!! So no matter where you land on the spectrum, we have a few chic options for you to shop!

Boots
We had more than one request to find a combat style boot in a size 13, and ladies…..we are excited to tell you that is mission accomplished!! So if you are on the hunt for a combat boot this season, you won’t be disappointed. But like anything, this is likely to fly in the larger sizes (experience tells us they usually don’t cut as many), so make sure you hop in and snag your pair right away. Also, we included an over the knee boot from Target because Amy has this style herself and they fit great!

If you thought cute trendy sneakers were not available in the size you need, then boy, do we have good news for you friends!!!
